LESPORTSAC: 50th ANNIVERSARY

MAKING AN IN-STORE SPLASH FOR A 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

BRAND STORYTELLING | IN-STORE ACTIVATIONS

Since 1974, handbag brand, LeSportsac has championed stylish functionality with their broad collection of rip-stop nylon bags. As a part of their global 50th anniversary celebration, they asked us to create a set of in-store experiences at their flagship New York City location in SoHo (which we previously designed for them)

To create a visual splash, and to spotlight one of LeSportsac’s mainstay products, we designed a giant-sized, red weekender bag at the center of the store. Guests could explore the replica inside and out, which housed a brand retrospective, complete with authentic heritage bags from high-profile collaborations over the past five decades. 

Integrating the environmental design with a schedule of celebratory events, we also transformed the cash wrap into “LeFleurShop,” a pop-up flower stand with a rainbow of mini Lesportsac bags flexibly displayed with colorful fresh blossoms customers could select from to create a bouquet of flowers.  

The in-store activation was another successful undertaking in our on-going partnership with LeSportsac, which includes their global retail design (like the recently opened store in Seoul, South Korea), seasonal window displays, and in-store visual merchandising direction.
